There isn’t a child born in Split who hasn’t looked from the beach across the sea at least once and wished to swim across to Brač. Who says childhood dreams can’t come true? The new Sport2Life challenge is proof that we can do anything we wish just with enough motivation, will and effort.
Mike Saran, the founder of the Sport2Life Foundation, this time decided on a challenge outside his comfort zone, swimming from the Le Méridien Lav hotel in Podstrana to Supetar on the island of Brač. The Sport2Life team consisting of Mike Saran, Duje Božiković, Odien Group COO and Boris Odak, Director of Sport2Life Croatia swam a total of 12 km in 4 hours and 37 minutes of active swimming. At no point during the challenge did the team leave the sea, and they used the minimal breaks to enjoy the beauty of the open sea and the Brač Channel.
The Marina Lav team made sure that everything went well and that the Sport2Life team was safe at all times.
